Not being allowed to do stuff ’cause you’re sick is so BORINGS!
I had to spend AGES and AGES not allowed to do stuffs and being stuck confineds to a really small area so I couldn’t run or jump or hurt myself when I ouchied my knees and had to have the operations to fix them.
The first time was hard enough, but by the second operation I was just really, really fed ups and boreds and miserables. Cause I’d spent ages and ages getting better slowlies and I was finally alloweds to run and play again and then OUCH!, there went the second leg and it was back to square ones!
I was so fed up and upsets I started cryings when the humans even left the room and that’s not likes me at all! The humans says I was so stressed that my face finished turnings white.
Luckily, the humans were able to spend lots and lots of time withs me and did stuff to makes me not mind it so much. So we did lots of chewings – the humans had to sit with me and holds the chewies, cause I likes the company.
We also did some training of easy tricks that didn’t needs me to move much – not too much though, cause I gets too exciteds when I’m learning new stuffs and the humans was worried I’d jump and hurt my leg.
I got a fun puzzle game where I had to get my dinner out from under the slidy thing – I likes that one!
I had all my dinners in a Kong, so they lasted longers. Sometimes we just did fun stuff too, like howling togethers – I loves to howl with the humans! The humans gave me nice massages too, cause not being able to stand properlies made my whole body stiff and ouchy.
It seemed like forevers, but finally we was able to go for really short little walks again and we did lots of Look At Me training and stuff to makes it more interesting and keep me tireds.
Once I was able to walk around the house again, we gots to play really fun Where Is It? games too, where the humans would hide my toy or a treat and I’d have to smellie everywhere until I found it. I LOVES Where Is It Games, especially for treats.
After that the bad times was over and we slowly got back to normals. The humans and I did get a bit frustrateds with each other at times while we were still on short walks though, cause the humans wouldn’t let me walk as much as I wanteds and I refused to walk towards home, cause my legs would starts to hurt when we started walking home again – they didn’t hurt nearly as much when we were walking in more interesting directions! The humans say that for a small doggie, I’m pretty heavy…
