#21 – Swimming
I loves to swim, it’s REALLY good exercise, especially for doggies with ouchy legs like me. My humans says it’s good for me cause it doesn’t put stresses on the joints likes walking or runnings. I don’t swims in cold water though, no way, no sir! Some doggies will, but I thinks they’re crazies!

I was scared to not haves my paws touching the bottom for ages and ages and woulds only wades, but my humans spent lots and lots of times helping me realise I wouldn’t drowns if they didn’t and I loves it LOTS now. If your dog is a real wussy likes I was, you can gets a life jacket to helps keep them up. I hads to wear one when I first started swimmings again after my operations, cause my back legs was really weak.

My humans think I would keeps on fetching the ball or swimmy toy until I sinks like a rock cause I can’t swim anymores, but they’ve never lets me try! Swimming really tires a doggie out and is great exercise for doggies with joint issues likes me, as they gets to builds strong muscles! After I had my operations for my knees, I was very ouchy and my legs were tireds for ages, so I didn’t feel likes walking much. Then it gots nice and warm and I started swimmings again and I was soon feeling so much betters, I can runs around and everything agains now. I hopes it gets warm enough to go swimming again soon…
